A Major works program, that has rejuvenated areas such as New Farm and Tenneriffe, is sweeping towards Brunswick Street West. Valley Metro is in the strategic position of being at the core of the "VALLEY INTERGRATED MASTER PLAN".

Many of the old "Eyesore's" in the Valley are being revamped to create vibrant new Community Facilities, residential apartments and office towers. Leighton Properties won the right to develop a 2ha site on Alfred Street at the rear of Valley Metro, which includes 15,000sqm of office space, 52 housing units, a 240 bay car park and a parkland area.
